Suzuki has launched the updated Gixxer SF 150 in India at a price of INR. 1.10 Lakhs. The new model borrows much of its styling from its newly launched big brother the Gixxer SF 250. The fairing has been revised and the motorcycle now gets sharp LED headlamp unit also seen on the bigger brother. Other changes include a new split-seat configuration, a sportier clip-on handlebar, a redesigned double-barrel chrome exhaust, and a tweaked instrument cluster.
Powering the Gixxer SF 150 is the same 154.9cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine as the current model but now it makes less power at 14.1hp and 14Nm of torque. Other hardware elements, like the suspension and brakes, also remain the same and it uses a 41mm telescopic fork and mono-shock, with disc brakes at both ends. ABS, on the other hand, is still single channel compared to the dual channel on the new Gixxer SF 250. The Gixxer SF 150 will go toe to toe against Hero's Xtreme 200S.
